GOAL SETTING

GOAL SETTING IS THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP IN MAKING LASTING CHANGE. WITHOUT A GOAL, YOU SIMPLY HAVE A DREAM. IF YOU’RE TRULY READY TO JUMPSTART YOUR HEALTH (AND I KNOW YOU ARE BECAUSE YOU ARE HERE!), THEN IT’S TIME TO START SETTING SOME REAL, PRACTICAL GOALS.

YOUR WORKBOOK HAS AN INTENSIVE GOAL SETTING ACTIVITY TO COMPLETE TO HELP YOU GET REAL AND HONEST ABOUT WHAT YOU WANT WHEN IT COMES TO YOUR WELLNESS. SET ASIDE AT LEAST AN HOUR IN YOUR SCHEDULE TO WORK THROUGH THIS ACTIVITY. FIRST YOU WILL BE LOOKING BACK ON YOUR PAST AND WHEN YOU’VE FELT YOUR BEST. NEXT YOU WILL LOOK INTO THE FUTURE AT WHO YOU WANT TO BE. BE AS SPECIFIC AS POSSIBLE WITH THIS PART! YOU WANT TO BE SURE YOU HAVE A VERY CLEAR VISION OF WHAT EXACTLY YOU WANT. NEXT YOU WILL BE CREATING YOUR FIRST THREE GOALS TO FOCUS ON FOR THE GLOW REMEDY SCHOOL! THIS IS EXCITING! YOU KNOW HAVE A STARTING POINT AND SOMETHING SPECIFIC TO FOCUS ON. I ENCOURAGE YOU TO CHOOSE ONE NUTRITION GOAL, ONE FITNESS GOAL, AND ONE SELF-CARE GOAL.

EVERY TWO WEEKS I WILL ENCOURAGE YOU TO REVISIT THESE GOALS AND SEE HOW YOU’RE PROGRESSING. IF A GOAL IS NOW A HABIT OR YOU FEEL THAT YOU HAVE ACCOMPLISHED IT, IT’S TIME TO PICK A NEW GOAL! IF YOU’RE STRUGGLING WITH A SPECIFIC GOAL, CONSIDER BREAKING IT DOWN INTO A SIMPLER STEP. CHECKING IN ON YOUR GOALS EVERY TWO WEEKS WILL KEEP YOU ACCOUNTABLE AND HELP YOU SEE REAL PROGRESS ALONG THIS JOURNEY. I ENCOURAGE YOU TO SHARE YOUR GOALS IN THE GROUPME CHAT FOR ACCOUNTABILITY.
